About This Faculty

The Faculty of Education at The Unity University prepares students to become skilled, confident teachers and education leaders. Programmes combine teaching methods with subject knowledge, so graduates are ready to teach in schools and support the development of Somaliland’s education system.

Teaching practice is a central part of study in this faculty, with students observing and leading real lessons under the guidance of experienced teachers. Alongside classroom skills, students learn about child development, curriculum design, and how to support learners with different needs and abilities. Graduates leave prepared not only to teach effectively, but to contribute to raising education standards more broadly.
