About This Faculty

The Faculty of Allied Health Science at The Unity University trains students to protect and improve community health. Programmes cover nursing, public health, and nutrition, combining science with hands-on practice so students are prepared for the realities of health work in Somaliland.

Learning combines classroom study of anatomy, disease, and nutrition with practical placements in hospitals, clinics, and community health settings. Students build both clinical skills and an understanding of the wider health system, so they can care for individual patients while also contributing to community-level health programmes. Graduates serve in hospitals, clinics, and public health programmes across Somaliland and beyond.
